Can You Have Whiplash From Bumping Your Head? I Walked Into The Wall In A Short Doorway, Felt Pain-neck Down?

with 2 comments

It was at a children’s museum, watching grandson, I just hit the doorway — hard. It was like my body kept going, and I felt a stabbing pain in my back. (Needless to say — my head hurt, too) Now a week later, I am still having neck and shoulder pain and headaches. Does anything help?

  1. If bumping your head caused it to snap back and strain the muscles it could be whiplash. Go get a massage, 15 to 30 minutes should do it, if that doesn’t help see your doctor.

  2. I would suggest maybe seeing a Chiropractor. In the meantime, you can try some of the neck exercises listed below which may help offer some relief.
